Nina Simone Farmer

Nina Simone Farmer is a proud native of Quincy, Florida and a graduate of James A. Shanks High School. Following her graduation in 1988, she honorably served in the United States Navy for 20 years, completing distinguished tours in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom before retiring in 2008.
During her military service, Nina pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Liberty University, and a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from TUI International. After her military retirement, she joined the Troops to Teachers program and earned a second Master’s degree in Education Curriculum and Development.
In 2010, Nina began her second career in education as a public school teacher. She spent two years in the classroom before serving as a Dean of Students for 11 years within Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida.
In 2022, Nina transitioned from public education to entrepreneurship. She founded NSF Consulting Group, LLC and PittFarm Solutions, LLC, combining her expertise in finance, holistic plant-based nutrition, and life coaching. As a financial coach and holistic success strategist, Nina focuses on supporting Veterans, particularly those navigating PTSD, eating disorders, and the challenges of daily life.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Nina is an avid runner and passionate world traveler, having explored over 35 countries. Her global experiences and commitment to wellness continue to inspire her work and her mission to empower others.
