Dr. Arthur Black

Arthur Black, DPM, is an American Board of Podiatric Medicine certified podiatrist serving patients in the Washington, DC, area at Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center (OFAC) in Falls Church, Virginia. He has been voted Top Doc for both the Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazines.

Dr. Black was born in Montgomery, Alabama and was raised in Quincy, Florida by his grandparents. Upon graduating from James A. Shanks High School, he enrolled in Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he majored in biology and minored in chemistry. After graduating from FAMU, he attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine, affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After obtaining his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2007, he completed three years of surgical training at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as the chief resident in 2010.

Before joining the experienced staff at Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center, Dr. Black practiced podiatry for four years in New York City. He is affiliated with the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.

Arthur is a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He also serves on the board of Supreme Foundation. In his spare time, he enjoys Jui Jitsu, chess and spending time with his wife and kids.
